Location: Omaha, NE

End Date: 08-24-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every third weekend, nights every other weekend, and holidays rotating with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics
Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry
Work collaboratively with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and BiPAP machines

Qualifications

Current Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
1 year of recent experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 setting
Valid driver's license

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in respiratory therapy
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong time management and organizational skills
