Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with rotating weekends and on-call requirements

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a dialysis setting
Perform peritoneal dialysis procedures, including hookup and disconnect
Operate Baxter Home Choice machines
Manage hemodialysis complications and emergencies
Titrate drips, including heparin
Precept new staff members as needed

Qualifications

Current RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Peritoneal dialysis experience
Competence with AVF/AVG cannulation and CVC access
Acute care dialysis nursing experience

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Dialysis and peritoneal dialysis procedures
Hemodialysis machine operation
Patient assessment and monitoring
Medication administration and titration
Communication and interpersonal skills
