Retail Pharmacy Technician

Location: Westerville, Ohio

Start Date: 07-26-2026

End Date: 10-24-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Flexible schedule based on operational needs; pharmacy open Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM and Saturday 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM (closed major holidays)

Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients with their pharmacy needs
Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist
Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper storage of medications
Process insurance claims and resolve billing issues with a smile
Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote patient wellness

Qualifications

Active Pharmacy Technician license/certification in Ohio (required)
BLS certification (required - we can help if you need to renew)
Prior retail pharmacy experience is a big plus
Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in pharmacy software and point-of-sale systems
Knowledge of prescription medications and insurance processes
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and safety
