Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Maine
• CPR certification (BLS) required
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical nursing skills including medication administration, wound care, and patient assessment
• Knowledge of infection control practices and safety protocols
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
