Location: Scarborough, ME
Start Date: 08-02-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Varied shifts including 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, depending on facility needs; no set weekly schedule
Candidate Pay Rate: $41 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Maine
- CPR certification (BLS) required
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical nursing skills including medication administration, wound care, and patient assessment
- Knowledge of infection control practices and safety protocols
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
