Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (day/night), 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced PCU setting
Monitor and manage cardiac, neurology, and medical-surgical patients with continuous EEG and titratable drips
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Titrate medications such as Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications as ordered
Maintain a positive attitude and strong communication skills in a dynamic environment

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 1-2 years of PCU or similar acute care experience preferred
Ability to pass a skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation
Willingness to float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in titrating intravenous medications
Ability to provide care for patients with cardiac, neurological, and diabetic conditions
Comfortable with fast-paced, high-acuity environments
