Location: Carmichael, California

Start Date: 06-23-2026

End Date: 09-22-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, up to every other weekend, rotating holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop patient daily lists and review charts
Assess patient needs and open goals of care discussions
Educate patients on disease process, advance directives, and POLSTs
Hold family meetings and provide end-of-life support
Attend daily rounds and manage a caseload of patients

Qualifications

2-5 years of recent experience in palliative and/or hospice setting
BLS certification required, ELNEC preferred
Strong acute care, clinical thinking, and communication skills
Flexibility and strong organizational skills

Education

RN license required

Knowledge & Skills

Palliative care experience
Cerner EMR
BLS and ELNEC certifications
Strong clinical thinking and communication skills
