Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, Monday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating shifts

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a MedSurg/Tele unit
Monitor patients with mental illness and secondary psychiatric diagnoses
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Perform skills such as Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Qualifications

Current RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications
MedSurg/Tele experience required
Psychiatric experience preferred
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam and SIMs Lab

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

MedSurg/Tele skills
Psychiatric experience
Cerner EMR
Communication and interpersonal skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
