Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 12 hour shifts, various times including 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced PCU and MedSurg unit
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor patient conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of Nebraska
1 year of experience in a PCU or MedSurg setting
ACLS, BLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Chemotherapy certification preferred

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in PCU and MedSurg nursing
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of EPIC EMR system
