Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to oncology patients managing treatment symptoms in a supportive clinic setting
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including pharmacy and social services for holistic patient support
Educate patients and families on care plans, symptom management, and psychosocial needs
Manage specialized procedures like wound care, neutropenic precautions, and colostomy care with expertise
Utilize EPIC system to document and track patient progress accurately
Float as needed to ensure seamless coverage across the 11-room unit

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2 years of oncology clinic experience
BLS certification required, ONS and OCN preferred
Comfortable with adult and geriatric patient populations
EPIC documentation experience is a must
Teaching hospital background preferred for this dynamic environment

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in symptom management for nausea, neuropathy, edema, and more
Skilled in caring for diverse cancers including breast, lung, prostate, and leukemia
Proficient in pain management, psychosocial support, and advanced directives
Hands-on with isolation precautions, tracheostomy care, and wound management
