Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients on the Medical Observation/Telemetry unit
• Monitor patient conditions, assess vital signs, and respond to changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or compact license accepted
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience preferred
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in electronic medical record systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care
