Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Saturday-Wednesday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $68 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients on the Medical Observation/Telemetry unit
- Monitor patient conditions, assess vital signs, and respond to changes promptly
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or compact license accepted
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience preferred
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in electronic medical record systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
