Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate care to patients across their cancer journey from diagnosis to treatment and end-of-life support
• Monitor telemetry and interpret rhythms to ensure patient safety
• Administer chemotherapy and manage ports with precision and care
• Prioritize infection prevention and fall protocols to protect vulnerable patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including pharmacy and rapid response for holistic care
• Float to other MedSurg Oncology units to broaden your expertise

Qualifications

• Active RN license with BLS certification required
• ONS Chemo certification preferred for chemo administration
• 2 years of recent nursing experience, ideally in oncology though willing learners welcome
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system
• Previous travel experience a plus but not required

Education

• RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry interpretation and monitoring mastery
• IV therapy, phlebotomy, and central line management
• Oncology care including solid tumor cancers like breast, lung, and prostate
• Tracheostomy care and blood product administration
• Dysrhythmia management and emergency response
• Isolation precautions and infection prevention protocols
