Location: Columbus, Ohio

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night 3x12-Hour, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating schedules including weekends based on unit needs
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate care to high-acuity oncology PCU patients
- Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias with precision
- Manage central lines, PICC lines, and IV therapies expertly
- Administer blood products, cardiac drips, and PCA pumps safely
- Collaborate with rapid response teams to save lives
- Prioritize infection prevention and fall safety protocols
- Support feeding tubes, chest tubes, and respiratory equipment
Qualifications
- 2+ years high-acuity PCU experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Oncology experience preferred but not required - ICU/PCU backgrounds thrive here
- Proficiency in Epic charting
- Willingness to float to equivalent units
- Previous travel experience a plus
Education
- RN licensure required
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Line management including ports, PICCs, and central lines
- Cardiac drip management and heparin protocols
- Respiratory support with CPAP/BiPAP and HFNC
- Blood product administration and ABG interpretation
- Rapid response team participation
- Infection control and patient safety focus
