Roles & Responsibilities
- Apply the nursing process to deliver exceptional care in labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
- Masterfully monitor fetal heart rates and manage OB triage with precision
- Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate outstanding patient outcomes
- Educate and empower patients and their loved ones with confidence
- Document care meticulously in OBIX and EPIC systems for seamless continuity
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience
- Current fetal heart monitoring expertise
- Oregon RN license (willing to obtain)
- BLS AHA certification
- NRP certification
- Skills checklist within the last year
Education
- RN licensure in Oregon
Knowledge & Skills
- RN scope of practice per Oregon State Board of Nursing
- Nursing process and patient care documentation
- Interdisciplinary collaboration
- Labor and delivery including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery
- Fetal heart monitoring
- OBIX and EPIC systems highly preferred
- EFM and STABLE certifications a plus
