Location: Sacramento, California

Start Date: 06-23-2026

End Date: 09-22-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, Days start at 7:00 AM and Nights start at 5:45 PM. Every other weekend and rotating holidays. OT and extra shifts available.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $83 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Cardiovascular Surgical ICU setting
Work effectively with a multidisciplinary team to manage complex patient cases
Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to prioritize patient needs
Participate in charge nurse duties and break relief as needed

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in CVICU
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Experience with Cerner EMR
Neuro experience preferred

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care nursing skills
Cardiovascular surgical ICU experience
EKG interpretation and ventilator management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
