Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts (start/end times to be confirmed by facility); rotating 12.5-hour schedule (may include days and nights)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients quickly and accurately in the emergency setting
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care for acute and critical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document thoroughly
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to coordinate patient flow
- Monitor patient status, interpret clinical data, and escalate concerns promptly
- Educate patients and families on care plans, follow-up, and discharge instructions
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe environment
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Hawaii or ability to obtain prior to start
- Emergency Department (ED/ER) experience preferred; new grads with strong ER training welcome to apply
- Current BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfort working 12.5-hour shifts in a fast-paced emergency environment
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and teamwork mindset
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Triage and emergency assessment skills
- IV therapy, medication administration, and acute care interventions
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
- Ability to prioritize under pressure and manage multiple patients
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient/family communication and team collaboration
