Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in the cardiac cath lab by scrubbing and supporting procedures
• Perform and assist with left heart catheterizations, stent placements, and device cases including ICD and pacemaker work
• Monitor patients and document case details in EPIC and unit systems
• Operate and support imaging and cath lab equipment including Siemens, Sensis, Apollo, and Phillips IVUS
• Provide safe, patient-centered care for adults with CAD and AMI in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Respond to on-call activations within the required 30-minute window
• Float between Lakeside, Immanuel, and the home campus as needed to cover cases
• Follow facility policies including infection control and professional appearance standards

Qualifications

• ARRT or RCIS registration required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience, including left heart caths and stent placement
• Experience with ICD and pacemaker procedures and scrub assisting
• Comfort with EPIC charting and cath lab imaging systems like Siemens and Phillips IVUS
• Driver's license required at time of submittal and ability to meet radius/response time expectations
• Previous travel experience preferred but not required
• Candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and Dignity

Education

• ARRT or RCIS registration required
• BLS required
• BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac cath lab workflow and sterile scrub technique
• Left heart catheterization and stent deployment support
• Intracardiac device procedures support (ICD, pacemaker)
• Patient monitoring and documentation best practices
• EPIC electronic medical record navigation and charting
• Familiarity with Siemens cath systems, Sensis, Apollo, and Phillips IVUS
• Ability to work independently on day shifts and respond quickly for on-call activations
• Strong communication and teamwork in high-acuity acute care settings
