Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert respiratory treatments and care for patients battling insufficiencies, asthma, pneumonia and emphysema
Manage advanced ventilators like Servo I, Hamilton and V60 machines to optimize patient breathing
Perform critical procedures including ABGs, CPT, nebulizers and CPAP/BIPAP setups
Collaborate with physicians and team members in a high-volume unit handling 44-46 procedures per shift
Evaluate patient needs and provide life-saving interventions in acute care settings

Qualifications

Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
Florida RRT license or ability to obtain quickly for travel pros

Education

Associate degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy from accredited program
RRT certification from NBRC

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Meditech EMR system
Experience with Servo I ventilators, Hamilton ventilators, V60, Astral CPAP/BIPAP
Trauma care experience a big plus
Critical thinking in fast-paced environments
Team player mindset with patient care focus
