Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patient mobility and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises and manual therapy to improve function
• Document progress notes and communicate outcomes with interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to coordinate care

Qualifications

• Current state Physical Therapist license in Georgia
• Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage caseload

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of musculoskeletal and neurologic rehabilitation techniques
• Skilled in gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility
• Proficient in electronic health record documentation
• Understanding of Medicare and Medicaid billing guidelines
