Location: Seaside, Oregon

Shift Type: Day 5x8-Hour, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, weekends required up to 26 shifts per contract
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Master aseptic techniques to ensure safe medication preparation
- Compound sterile and non-sterile products with precision and care
- Prepare IV mixtures and manage high-alert medications flawlessly
- Utilize Epic and Pyxis systems to streamline pharmacy operations
- Prevent and report medication errors to safeguard patient well-being
- Support inpatient acute care in a critical access hospital setting
Qualifications
- Active Oregon state license in hand - a must
- 1+ years of pharmacy technician experience, preferably more
- CPHt certification preferred
- Travel experience required to hit the ground running
Education
- Pharmacy technician training with state licensure
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in Epic charting and Pyxis dispensing systems
- Proficiency in pharmacy law, controlled substances, and high-alert meds
- Strong grasp of pharmacology including generic/brand names and administration routes
- Skilled in labeling, packaging, and sterilizing flow hoods
