Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' respiratory status, including oxygen saturation and arterial blood gases
• Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and other respiratory equipment
• Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway management
• Educate patients and families on respiratory therapy techniques and home care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with state licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in acute care or LTACH settings
• Strong knowledge of ventilator management, airway clearance, and pulmonary diagnostics
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
