Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist during patient exams and procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Take and develop dental x-rays as directed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Ensure a comfortable and positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Must be orthodontic certified
• Experience as a dental assistant preferred
• Strong knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Sterilization and infection control techniques
• Dental radiography and safety
• Orthodontic appliance knowledge (braces, aligners, etc.)
• Patient scheduling and record management
• Attention to detail and manual dexterity
