Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during procedures, including bonding brackets, taking impressions, and adjusting appliances
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, ensuring a clean and safe clinical environment
• Take and develop digital X-rays and intraoral scans with precision
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with treatment planning

Qualifications

• Certified or registered Dental Assistant (CDA/RDA) in Maryland preferred
• X-ray certification required
• Experience in orthodontics is a plus but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to make patients feel comfortable

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in taking impressions, digital scanning, and wire adjustments
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting
