Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during procedures, ensuring smooth patient care
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and appliance maintenance
• Sterilize equipment and maintain infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or license in Maryland
• X-ray certification preferred
• Experience in orthodontic assisting is a plus
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
