Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with patient care and treatment planning
• Prepare and sterilize orthodontic instruments and equipment
• Record patient data and update electronic health records
• Support patient education on oral hygiene and appliance care
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment room
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dental assistant certification preferred
• Experience in orthodontics or general dental assisting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Team‑player mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Orthodontic procedures and appliance handling
• Dental instrument management
• Patient charting and documentation
• Sterilization and infection control protocols
• Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
• Team collaboration and communication
