Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and treatments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take and process dental impressions
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience in orthodontics
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and precision
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with dental software and electronic health records
• Knowledge of orthodontic terminology and procedures
• Understanding of sterilization protocols and infection control
• Patient care and comfort techniques
• Collaboration with orthodontic team members
