Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after each appointment
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting
• Coordinate with the dental team to streamline workflow
• Provide patient education on orthodontic care and appliance maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dental assisting certification preferred
• Experience in orthodontics or general dentistry desirable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic terminology and procedures
• Proficiency with dental software and charting systems
• Understanding of infection control protocols
• Ability to handle orthodontic appliances and retainers
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
