Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and plan surgical patient care to ensure optimal outcomes before, during, and after procedures
Maintain a sterile and safe environment that protects every patient
Educate patients pre and post-op to empower their recovery journey
Monitor physical and emotional well-being throughout the surgical continuum
Circulate in the OR while integrating seamless team coordination
Float across specialties like vascular, ortho, trauma, and robotics for diverse impact

Qualifications

Active New York RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
2+ years of current OR experience
EPIC system proficiency
Travel nursing background
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and have your own vehicle

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in vascular and orthopedic surgery
Strong scrub and circulate capabilities
Float experience across trauma, general surgery, robotics, urology, and ENT
Patient assessment and monitoring prowess
Sterile technique and OR safety mastery
