Occupational Therapy Assistant
Location: Allendale, New Jersey

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement therapy interventions per OT plan of care to help patients regain independence.
- Document patient progress accurately and timely to support quality care.
- Assist with patient and family education, empowering them with knowledge.
- Communicate patient status to supervising OT for coordinated care.
- Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to maintain a safe environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain).
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Occupational therapy interventions and patient assessment.
- Documentation and electronic health record proficiency.
- Infection control and compliance protocols.
- Team collaboration and interdisciplinary communication.
- Patient and family education techniques.
- Adaptability to diverse patient needs.
