Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures independently while adhering to safety protocols
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment to produce high‑quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Conduct quality control checks and document imaging results accurately
• Educate patients on MRI procedures and address any concerns

Qualifications

• Formal AMA‑approved school of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT Registry certification
• MRI Registry certification
• Current CPR certification
• Venipuncture certification (or obtainable within 3 months)
• Minimum 2 years of hospital MRI experience
• At least two recent supervisory references

Education

• AMA‑approved Radiologic Technology program

Knowledge & Skills

• Magnetic Resonance Imaging physics and safety
• Patient positioning and coil selection
• Image acquisition techniques
• Troubleshooting MRI hardware and software issues
• Effective communication with patients and clinical team
