Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM (4x10hr shifts, off Wednesdays and weekends)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Take vital signs and monitor patient health with precision
Prepare exam rooms and patients for smooth provider visits
Administer injections and immunizations to support treatments
Collect specimens accurately for essential diagnostics
Handle administrative tasks to keep the clinic running seamlessly
Care for a wonderful geriatric patient panel with compassion

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) certification is required
1 year of experience as an MA-C in an adult outpatient clinic
BLS certification preferred
Open to first-time travelers, locals, and non-locals alike

Knowledge & Skills

Vital signs including height, weight, pulse oximetry, and EKGs
Exam prep, rooming patients, and recording histories
Injections like immunizations, intradermal, and intramuscular
Specimen collection such as urine samples and labeling
Administrative duties including chart prep and pharmacy calls
EPIC EMR experience preferred for our modern charting system
