Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care in accordance with care plans and facility policies
Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to the healthcare team
Support patient comfort, basic needs and dignity during each shift
Collaborate with nurses, aides and therapists to deliver coordinated care
Participate in unit meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license; Pennsylvania licensure expected for this Lancaster position
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Clear background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
Comfortable working 8-hour shifts and delivering hands-on patient care
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program; high school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical skills in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Good charting and documentation practices
Ability to recognize and escalate changes in patient condition
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Time management and the ability to prioritize in a busy care environment
