Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care and assist residents with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document resident conditions, reporting changes to the nursing team
• Support safe and timely transfers, ambulation, and positioning
• Assist with meal service and nutritional needs while observing resident preferences
• Follow infection control practices and contribute to a clean, safe environment
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — NH or VT licensure preferred or eligible
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is a plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to work 12+ hour day shifts and adapt to a rotating schedule
• Clear background check and required immunizations per facility policy
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with ADLs, transfers, and basic clinical tasks
• Solid documentation skills and attention to detail in charting
• Understanding of infection control and resident safety protocols
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
• Compassionate bedside manner and effective interpersonal skills
