Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy for patients
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and preventive care
• Take and process dental x-rays with precision
• Assess patients' oral health and communicate findings to the dentist
• Assist during dental procedures and ensure patient comfort
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold strict sterilization protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Current CPR certification
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
• New graduates are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene techniques and modern instruments
• Experience with dental software and digital radiography
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interaction
• Attention to detail and commitment to infection control
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
