Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal assessments.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
• Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care.
• Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and uphold the highest standards of patient safety.

Qualifications

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in Virginia.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care and oral hygiene instruction.
• Dental radiography and image interpretation.
• Infection control and sterilization procedures.
• Dental software proficiency and record keeping.
• Team collaboration and patient communication.
