Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
• Assist dentists with procedures and maintain accurate patient records
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (or compact state)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality care

Education

• Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding dental practice
• Experience with dental software and digital X-ray systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interaction
• Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
