Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for orthodontic procedures and ensure comfort
• Assist orthodontists with placement and removal of braces and Invisalign aligners
• Take and process dental X-rays as needed
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred
• Experience with orthodontic procedures including braces and Invisalign
• Knowledge of dental terminology and infection control
• X-ray certification (if required by state)
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
