Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis for patients
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Document patient records accurately and maintain charts
• Collaborate with dentists and assistants to ensure seamless patient flow
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey Dental Hygienist license
• Completion of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and patient safety

Knowledge & Skills

• Oral anatomy and pathology
• Preventive dental care procedures
• Use of dental hygiene instruments and equipment
• Patient education and counseling
• Electronic health record documentation
