Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
• Educate patients and families on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
• Take and process dental x-rays as needed
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming clinical environment
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Maryland
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Radiography certification preferred
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• A compassionate, patient-focused approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough understanding of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Proficiency in taking dental radiographs
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Comfort using electronic dental record systems
• Ability to build rapport with pediatric patients
• Team-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
