Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake, and output accurately
• Support patients with meals and feeding assistance
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
• Document care provided and report changes to nursing staff promptly
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient comfort and dignity

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or hospital settings preferred
• Ability to work overnight shifts and adaptable to a per diem schedule
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and reliable

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient care procedures and ADL assistance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely using proper body mechanics
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
• Time management and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Team collaboration and a positive attitude
