Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis for patients
• Take and develop dental radiographs following safety protocols
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Document patient records accurately in the electronic health system
• Collaborate with dentists and staff to ensure high‑quality patient care
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist license
• DPH certification or equivalent
• Associate degree in Dental Hygiene or higher
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with dental radiography and infection control
• Knowledge of periodontal assessment and treatment planning
• Ability to educate patients on oral health best practices
• Familiarity with electronic dental record systems
• Attention to detail and strong manual dexterity
