Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings and prophylaxis to maintain oral health
• Assess patient oral health and provide personalized education
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
• Assist with periodontal therapy and other procedures
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during treatments

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Maryland
• Current CPR certification
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Ability to adapt to different patient needs and clinical settings
