Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and patient education
• Perform dental assessments and take radiographs
• Assist dentist during procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with infection control protocols
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygiene license in Virginia
• CPR certification
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and equipment
• Skill in patient assessment and education
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
