Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with patient care and treatment procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental radiographs
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting
• Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent license
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Knowledge of dental software and electronic health records

• Dental anatomy and terminology
• Infection control and sterilization techniques
• Radiographic imaging and safety
• Patient care and comfort techniques
• Dental office workflow and procedures
