Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients in regaining independence through therapeutic activities under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist
• Implement personalized treatment plans to improve daily living skills
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes accurately
• Educate patients and families on exercises and adaptive techniques
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care
• Bring compassion and creativity to every therapy session

Qualifications

• Current and valid COTA certification in California
• Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Passion for helping others achieve their goals
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience? Not required - we welcome new grads too!

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercises and modalities
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology
• Understanding of patient safety and infection control
• Ability to document clearly and efficiently
• Empathy and patience in working with diverse populations
