Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients throughout the night
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Support patients with meals and hydration needs
- Build meaningful connections while delivering excellent care
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant license in California
- Current CPR certification
- Prior experience in long-term care or acute settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State-approved CNA training program completion
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care and safety protocols
- Infection control practices
- Vital signs monitoring
- Assisting with activities of daily living
- Documentation and reporting skills
