Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Dispense and verify medications accurately and safely for patients and facilities
- Provide emergency coverage support when the situation calls for quick, expert action
- Review medication orders for appropriateness, interactions, and dosing
- Counsel patients and facility staff on proper medication use and safety considerations
- Maintain meticulous records and ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and facility policies
- Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize therapeutic outcomes and support patient care
Qualifications
- Active RPh designation (Class: RPh) — required
- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing as required for the assignment
- Professional, patient-focused attitude with strong communication skills
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred; experience providing coverage or working in fast-paced settings a plus
- Willingness to work the assigned shift and provide coverage as needed
Education
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent pharmacy degree preferred
- Appropriate state licensure and certifications as required
Knowledge & Skills
- Thorough knowledge of medication safety, dosing, and administration
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing
- Effective communication for patient counseling and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Comfort using pharmacy workflows and electronic medication records
- Ability to adapt quickly during emergency coverage situations
