Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in alignment with facility policies
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Perform routine assessments and report changes in patient condition promptly
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and handoffs
• Support patient and family education to promote recovery and well-being

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) — active or eligible in New York
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Comfortable working day shifts in an acute or long-term care setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; a positive, patient-focused attitude
• Previous clinical experience preferred but new grads with clinical training are welcome to apply

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program; High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and basic pharmacology knowledge
• Proficient in patient assessments and vital sign monitoring
• Skilled in wound care, ADL assistance, and basic procedures common to LPN practice
• Accurate clinical documentation and electronic charting familiarity
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during a busy 8-hour shift
• Professional bedside manner and strong patient/family communication
