Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using a variety of therapeutic procedures and modalities to restore strength, mobility, coordination, and body alignment.
• Implement assistive devices and teach patients safe use to improve independence and function.
• Deliver range of motion exercises, mobility training, and pain management interventions under PT supervision.
• Document patient status and progress clearly and accurately in the medical record.
• Follow the supervising Physical Therapist's plan of care and operate within the California State Practice Act.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team and communicate changes in patient condition promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid California Physical Therapist Assistant license (LPTA) required.
• Graduated from an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Able to perform therapeutic procedures, modalities, assistive device training, and pain management techniques.
• Works under PT supervision and practices in accordance with the State Practice Act.

• Graduated from an approved Physical Therapy Assistant Program
