Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality resident care
• Provide direct patient care for long-term care residents, including assessments and interventions
• Lead quality assurance efforts and help maintain regulatory compliance
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members and communicate effectively with families
• Oversee medication administration, documentation, and care planning
• Mentor and coach staff to promote best practices and professional growth
• Respond to clinical emergencies and ensure appropriate escalation when needed

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or eligibility for Colorado licensure
• Experience in long-term care settings and prior supervisory responsibility preferred
• Comfortable and experienced working 12-hour night shifts
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; facility may require additional certifications
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• Clinical nursing skills specific to long-term care and chronic condition management
• Quality assurance and regulatory compliance knowledge
• Leadership and staff supervision
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Strong interpersonal skills for resident- and family-centered care
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced night-shift environment
