Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform EEG studies accurately and compassionately to support patient diagnosis
• Prepare patients for testing, explain procedures clearly, and ensure comfort
• Monitor and document high-quality EEG waveforms and technical parameters
• Collaborate with neurologists and care teams to ensure timely, useful results
• Maintain equipment, perform routine QC, and report issues promptly
• Ensure accurate patient documentation and adherence to facility policies

Qualifications

• Experience as an EEG Tech or recent graduate of an EEG/Neurodiagnostic program preferred
• Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T) or equivalent certification is a plus
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working with adult and/or pediatric patients and diverse care teams
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols consistently
• Reliable, professional, and patient-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of EEG/Neurodiagnostic training preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with EEG equipment, electrode application, and impedance testing
• Understanding of EEG waveforms, artifact identification, and basic troubleshooting
• Good patient communication and bedside manner
• Accurate electronic charting and basic computer skills
• Infection control practices and safe patient handling
